What is your character name (in-game) and what class do you play?
Dunedin, NE Druid, Male
What hours do you typically play (cite time zone as well.)
Background
A bit of a strange one...apologies for being an oddball at the moment.
Me and my girlfriend are about to go traveling for 6-8months, so while I am UTC/GMT (United Kingdom), I will be NZST/Oceanic time (New Zealand) for a period before returning to the UK. Playing hours may be day or evening while in NZST and evening 19:00-23:00 UTC when in the UK.
Although being a really enthusiastic player I am only able to play casually but to RL but am able to commit to certain events or times, especially community events.
I am also only able to start playing classic from the start of November, but will be keeping a keen eye on vanilla progress on youtube, forums and discord in the mean time. I hope Nighthaven could be a place to hear from friends on their progress in the first couple of months and join in game when I am able to.
I understand this is a bit abnormal so would understand if offers would want to delay any approval/trial until I am able to play in game. I would just love to feel a part of a group hearing how things are going on discord rather than waiting and watching on youtube and forums.
What is your experience with World of Warcraft (how long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc?)
Played vanilla from near release. I believe I remember weather effects being added
Played vanilla through to the end of WOTLK but then RL commitments did not allow any time (Uni). Over the last couple of years I have been playing casually, mainly from interest in BfA, and more recently the last few months, casually on a classic private server.
Through vanilla-WOTLK I was a guild master of a small family orientated guild on Turalyon (my brother, mum and dad also played.. ). Coincidentally our officer rank was also called Guardian. Sadly a lot of our players dropped off like we did after WOTLK.
We casually dungeoned once a week and raided once a month in our prime. Held community events and odd roleplaying events and generally chatted.
Although we did not get very far with raids it was for the enjoyment of the journey together than any serious progression (with a few older folk and mainly casual players I don't think we would every have got that far )
It was a nice community to have been a part of and really added to the WoW experience.
Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild)
The community and social aspect is what I am really interested in, especially for a casual player where it is difficult to make any lasting connections. Alunaria's brief really appeals as the type of guild I would love to be a part of and contribute towards. Playing on a classic server recently I have really remembered how much fun there is in helping and being kind your fellow players (whether horde or alliance, my resto-druid play style really suits their lore). Nighthaven really seems to fit in that ethos and even roleplay I guess.
Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I would like to say I have an nurturing nature, as I guess any healer would do. Am and more than happy to help fellow players, guildies or lowbies. Although I may take me a few months to reach 60, I would love to help out the guild and join in any events (easier for me if any are scheduled to I know to be online).
Having been a guild master previously I am aware of guild structure/community and know the importance of keeping up appearances, which I will try my very best to do.
Playing a resto druid I am keen to heal, but also will try keep a tanking and dps kit for filling any gaps where needed.
I am very giving with reagents, especially to guildies. I plan on leveling herb + skinning while leveling and engineering + undecided at 60. Happy to do some odd reagent farming amongst levelling.

Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven (if so please cite the person)?
N/A
Anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other?
Although I have said I will only be able to play casually in the immediate future (from the start of Nov), I may be able to play more regularly. Traveling just has a lot of uncertainty at the moment as we do not have a set schedule of where we will be working (work-travel in NZ for 6months, farm and misc. work and staying in accommodation with wifi, so casual play, but may be able to play regularly in periods).
My main interest is in just playing vanilla again casually with a nice guild. Joining in social events where possible and potentially being able to play enough to eventually get onto PvP pre-mades (WSG flag carrying) and occasional raiding.
Thank you for any consideration. I would very much like to be a part of the guild, albeit remotely (discord) until the start of November, but understand if officers would like to delay any application/trial period/approval until I can join in game.
(I have already reserved my names, but am leaving on the 21st, a week before launch )
