What is your character name (in-game) and what class do you play?
In-Game Name: Issiel
Class: Warlock
What hours do you typically play (cite time zone as well.)
I mostly play from 17:00 in the afternoon to around 23:00. Weekends when I'm off work I can usually play a lot more unless I have real life stuff to take care of.
My timezone is currently GMT+2, Sweden.
What is your experience with World of Warcraft (how long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc?)
I started playing late Vanilla, shortly before TBC came out. My experience with WoW is mainly from a PvE perspective. I've never been too big into the PvP scene, although I have played plenty of it as well during my time. I started off with raiding in TBC as a Mage on the server Ravenholdt, before that I mainly played Alterac Valley on my Warlock before realising PvP wasn't for me and I enjoyed PvE way more. I found a guild in which I had some of my best memories in gaming with (Bloodfury), and I played with them all the way through TBC into some of WotLK too, before they unfortunately disbanded due to a lack of interest in the game in it's current state. I continued playing though, through the entire expansion and enjoyed it a lot. After that I have played every expansion to some extent, but I eventually lost interest every time I got back due to the game not going in the direction I was hoping for. I still raided a lot during some of the expansions, sometimes pretty hardcore too with a group of friends. It eventually faded out as I got older and I missed the old days, and here we are in Classic. I'm thoroughly enjoying myself in Azeroth again and it's great to be back.
Why would you want to join Nighthaven? Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild.
It has the core values I am looking for. It reminds me a lot of the guild I was in back in TBC, which makes me very interested. I've also met quite a few of the members doing dungeons together and I've really enjoyed the company and general atmosphere it brings playing together. It feels like a very mature and tight-knit community which I enjoy, and gives me a feeling it would be a great place for someone like me.
Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I am a good listener. I am very sensible in the way that I always see both perspectives in different situations. I am very positive and always keep a good attitude. I'm patient and enjoy meeting new people. I'm very open about myself and my journey. Easy to talk to, but I can also be a bit shy before I get to know people better. I adapt very well to most situations and people.
What I expect from my guild is to be treated equally. To be treated with respect of my life choices and just enjoy the game and company. I want to have a place where I can enjoy Azeroth with likeminded players. Something to look forward to everyday to login and have a good time both gaming wise, and socially interactive.
Where did you hear of us?
I've found out about the guild by playing with some of your members in dungeons.
Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven (if so please cite the person)?
Khazbo. We've been playing pretty frequently together doing dungeons with other various members of Nighthaven as well.
Anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other?
I might as well explain here further with my statements above about the life choices and respect:
I am a trans woman, openly so. For those unfamiliar, in my case this means I have changed my identity from male to female. As for many (wrong) beliefs, this is nothing sexually related. It has to do with gender identity disorder. I tend to not say anything about it if I don't have to, but I feel like this is one of those times where I need to talk about it. I have been living as a woman for many years now and living the normal life like anyone else, except I've got a long journey behind me that I've been through and I am still going through to some extent every day. I'm not easily offended, and have very high acceptance of error. I do however expect to be treated like any other woman would be, and I always strive towards having the correct pronoun among other things used towards me.
This isn't meant to become a big thing, I'm only saying it because I think it's a good thing to know and keep in mind. I certainly hope it doesn't change anything and I wouldn't want it to. In the end, I'm just here to enjoy my time in Azeroth with a group of nice people. I've gotten along really well with the people I've met from Nighthaven so far and hope to become a part of it!
