What is your character name, what class do you play, and what level are you?
Hi there, my character name is Liune, a night elf druid, currently level 21. Aim to play as feral PvP, and resto/feral PvE. Not quite decided yet.
What hours do you typically play? (Cite time zone as well.)
I usually play in the evenings, after work. Or in the weekends. I like to not be "forced" to play a single game though, keep my freedom - playing with friends is the thing that I value most, then secondly we figure out what game to play. Be that WoW (retail/classic), GW2, Civ6, Ck3, Borderlands 2/3, other MMO, RPG, RTS, 4X games, simulators, etc.
I will be playing Shadowlands on retail, and I have some duties that I need to tend to in retail (arranging and leading raids) - which will lead to less time to play classic. But I am always available on Battle.net if need be.
I am located in Norway, so my timezone is GMT+1.
What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
I figure I could write on and on about my career, but I will keep it short.
I have played WoW since the 7th of March, 2005 - at least that's what it says on my account. I missed out the first 2 weeks though, due to a trip with my school. I brought a Bradygames book about the game and read up on everything. It took me one year to reach 60 on my first character, a night elf priest. Since healers were a shortage on my realm, I was taken to heal Dire Maul and other instances at level 57 for the Warlock mount summoning quest, which was fun and very challenging. After about another year of playing at 60, I was asked to join a Molten Core group, and that started my raiding career. During my Vanilla raiding career, as a holy priest, we did ZG, MC, BWL, AQ, Naxx40 up to Maexxna (with different groups).
I can also remember doing a 10-man Scholomance, if that counts as a raid.
From BC, I started playing as a resto druid instead, and started raiding hardcore. When WotLK hit, I played partly as horde on a role-playing server, and partly on my old alliance characters. But less raid focus. Cataclysm, I mostly just skipped. In MoP, most of what I did was level characters (17 in total to 90) - most on PvE, some on PvP, some on RP. In WoD, pretty much the same +achievement hunting. At the end of WoD, I joined my current retail guild though. Legion, was a blast for me with my druid. Most fun I ever had in a raid setting. My attendance and dedication even got me a part of the officer group of this guild.
With BfA, I lost the motivation to play the druid though, as the playstyle had changed into something that I did not care for. Thus also losing the interest to play the game.
In Shadowlands, I am to level my druid, and I'm also in charge of putting up and assisting on leading a casual raid for my guild on retail. But at the moment I'm more psyched about levelling my classic druid then to get hyped for the, now delayed, release of Shadowlands.
Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild.)
I want to join Nighthaven because you seek the qualities that I seek in people I game with. I value friendliness, social activities, willingness to help, dedication, funny, people that don't take themselves too seriously and general good-heartedness.
I want people to chat with, to have fun with. Levelling can be quite lonely without "the green" to accompany you.
Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I'm social, I like playing with others whilst chatting on Discord or in game. I like to show people the secret stuff that most people miss. To share of my knowledge pool from Vanilla is very enjoyable for me - I will answer any question I can answer, no matter how "silly" they may be. I expect to have a place to relax, to come online and play when I feel like it - not have any expectations or responsibilities.
Where did you hear of us?
From my friend, Løyning.
Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven (if so please cite the person)?
Only a current applicant, as previously mentioned: Løyning.
Anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other?
I use Discord daily, ask me in PM for my nick.
