What is your character name, what class do you play, and what level are you?
Xancar, Warrior, Lvl 15 at writing.
What hours do you typically play? (Cite time zone as well.)
Based in SE England so on GMT/BST.
No set time for playing now at 33 with wife and 2 kids but mostly two nights a week 8pm-onwards, as well as logging in during the weekdays for a few hours here and there.
What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.)
Joined WoW at the end of Vanilla and then played TBC heavily. This co-coincided nicely with university with plenty of free time to play. Mostly did PvP and some of the early raids. I did have a wide selection of alts as I've always enjoyed the levelling experience. In Classic and TBC I had max level chars of most classes as well as some twinks.
Since then I've played each of the retail expansions but mostly just levelling to max on a rogue. Each expansion since, with its daily quests and chores, I've become less engaged in the game. I recently picked up BfA again with my brother and enjoyed playing Priest to a reasonable level but similar systems persist which encouraged me to look at Classic.
Your character and its progression means more on Classic which is why I have returned and enjoyed the experience so far. Even simple things as receiving buffs from pretty much every player you meet make the game much more enjoyable than retail.
Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild.)
My favourite time during WoW was in TBC where I played with a very social guild. It wasn't high level raiding in any way but most of the people there were older, retired etc and it made for a real sense of community, togetherness and accomplishment when we achieved even one boss in a raid. Looking at Nighthaven, those core values seem to be reflected here which is why I would like to join and just have fun in a game I've loved for 15 years.
Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
I've plenty of experience of the game content and classes so can offer advice wherever possible but mostly just a friendly person who enjoys the social aspects of Classic, having fun with others and happy to help out.
Where did you hear of us?
Darkshore General Chat Advert
Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven (if so please cite the person)?
No
Anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other?
I'm at a stage of work-life where spare time is limited so just looking to spend that time in a relaxed friendly community that this appears to be.
Thanks
