1. What is the name, class and level of your main character on Pyrewood Village, the one with which you wish to join Nighthaven? - That would be Thirias, currently a level 24 Night Elf Hunter (i started fresh on Pyrewood Village server, last played before TBC Classic)
2. What hours do you typically play? (Please include time zone as well) - GMT+1 usually between 19:00-23:00 on weekdays. On weekends it really depends on planning/familie or friends etc. But usually if i have time, you can find me anywhere between 10:00-00:00 on a saturday or sunday
3. What is your experience with World of Warcraft? (How long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc.) - Oh that's a good one I've been playing WOW sinds vanilla. Only.. Back at the time of vanilla I was not fully understanding english. As such, it was impossible to really.. 'get' the game. So I just found magic in being online with others, doing some light rp to understand quests (which we're narrated by a guild member) And to just have fun exploring the maps. But.. due to me not really getting the game. I've always been hopping on and off on WOW. Therefore I never played WoTLK, Legion or Shadowlands (and not playing Dragonblight so far) Untill classic came I loved the idea of going back to those times and just have FUN. I played all the way up until Nax, made my own social guild that ran over a year before people lost interest. Due to work I had to miss out on TBC. But now on WOTLK (The best DLC i missed out on back when it first came out) I really wanted to go again
4. What is your favorite thing about World of Warcraft Classic WotLK? (The community? The Immersion? The progression? Are you a fast leveller or do you like taking your time? Do you like doing dungeons and raids? Chatting with others? Or are you more the solo and quiet type? Tell us a bit about yourself - As I mentioned above. I really love to be able to talk to others around the world. Especially if you folks make true on your promises of being old-school like that Cuz nowadays, when I tried to go on retail, Its almost impossible to make new online friends. It seems like folks are losing patience and they just wanna go go go. Get high scores. And go play another game -_- Personally.. I just loooooooove to do random stuff in-game. Like one of my most fond memories i had of Wow, was when pandaria came out. And I (a level 10 pandarian) walked into Stormwind, Only to jump into some random guys Chopper (2-seater) because he asked!?.... As soon as I did.. The fella' took off.. yelling: "Pandaaaa! Panda for sale! Only 10G"... This random act. of bulshittery. These small short-lived moments. Are one of the main reasons I love to play online/together. Other than that. I've always loved folks who actually read, and act on quests. Because some quests are REALLY worth your time. And what's more fun than to try and actually solve a quest/mystery instead of just checking off quest points?
5. What are your goals in Classic WotLK, and what do you look forward to the most? - Oooooh this one might make me sound sad. But before I continue. Life's great And I'm not lonely in life.. But I am honestly really lonely when it comes to game-friends. The last couple a years, I've been hardly playing WITH people. My IRL Friends usually play either shooters. Or no games at all. They do not enjoy the RPG games I love. Let alone the MMORPG'S. I mean, I have been playing online. (Sea of thieves, WoW, ESO, etc) But never found like-minded folks, who just ENJOY the game as it is. Always die-hard pvp'ers.. quest-rushers.. or people who simply can't stop complaining about the game. And be honest.. work has enough of those people already. Let's keep gaming fun. So TL'DR... I'm looking for some (Hopefully) long time friends to enjoy what's to come in gamingworld
6. Why would you want to join Nighthaven? (Please note we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild) - Losing my own guild, back in Classic. Which had the same kind of idea as i'm reading here. Made me rethink my strategies of finding like-minded folks to play with. You see, my guild was brand new. The guild ran its course. People had lot's of fun, but nobody was in there for the long run. So as soon as they hit a gray spot while waiting for TBC, everyone left and most never came back. (I still have the guild on one of my chars as a reminder of those days ) So back to current days.. I started completely fresh. New server (bigger population) and have been looking for guilds in-game. But I either get the quiet, but always raiding guilds. Or the.. "we invite everyone including trolls" kinda guilds. So than I started looking online and I came across your site. And so far. I'm really loving what I'm reading on here
7. What qualities do you have to offer, and what do you expect of your guild? - First and foremost.. as you've probably already noticed by the shear amount of crap I can put on paper in a short amount of time. I like to think I'm active, open and always trying to find the good in life. I also really love to have a chat about either random things or in-game stuff. But besides that, I'm the kinda guy that honestly drops everything i'm doing in-game. Take a flight path all across the island -> take the boat to the other part of the world -> take more flight paths. JUST to see something either funny or really cool, someone wants to share. I just love to do stuff together.
Besides the fun part above. I've been an officer or guild leader over a couple of years on short lived guilds. *I'm atm not really interested in that. But I do know how to calm people down whenever a conflict arises. And make sure we all leave hand-shaking and having fun again. I've also been a dedicated raid leader for my own guild on classic over the course of a couple of months. So I also like to go a little bit in-depht in the game and it's mechanics, to help others out what buff or gear to search for for example. But as you've seen my on-and off going on Wow. I'm very much no expert in anything. I just like to help
8. Where did you hear of us? - Oh that's an easy one.. INTERNET Nah jk jk. I've searced for: A WoTLK Classic Social guild, got directed to the blizz forums. And stumbled upon a random post by Alexandro, promoting this guild.
9. Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven? (If so please include the name of the person) - Nope. Not yet i hope
10. Is there anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other? - As you can see, I can keep this chat going on. Even on a form like this xD But I can introduce myself as well a little bit.
My name is Johnny, and yes as the nickname suggests. I'm actually Dutch. I'm a 30 year old male. Living alone since a few years since my relation ship broke up, but enjoying life at the fullest. I play bass-guitar in a band (2 days a week rehearsing atm) and I've got 2 beautiful fluffy cat-friends at home - Oh and since i'm Dutch. I'm also a smoker And like i said. I can keep this going, but at this point. I'm starting to wonder about all of you. So I hope y'all think I'd fit in. So I can meet with all of you.
