What is your character name (in-game) and what class do you play?
My character name is Zagloba and he's a human Warlock (level 49 atm).
What hours do you typically play (cite time zone as well.)
I mostly play in-between 1 and 3:30pm, 6 and 8:45pm, and sometimes 9 and 11pm (Sometimes all of those hours, sometimes half of them or even less). My time zone is GMT+2. I'm from Poland.
Due to my health condition I have quite a lot of time to play but have also a few necessary things to be done during a day so it really depends on how well my daily routine goes.
What is your experience with World of Warcraft (how long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc?)
I have played World of Warcraft since The Wrath of the Lich King (2009) and have been playing on and of until this day. I never raided much but raiding was never the most important aspect of the game to me. Nevertheless I did some WotLK raids with my first guild and it was really fun. People in WoW were more patient and understanding back then (in my opinion at least) so my guild accepted me to a casual raiding group, although I'm not a very good player to be honest.
From the beginning of The Cataclysm I mostly played solo (even if I were in a guild), questing, exploring, leveling alts or professions etc...
As for PvP experience, well... let's say my rank is “The punchbag”.
Also I never did any RP.
Why would you want to join Nighthaven? Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild.
When I saw your post title I thought that it's really different comparing to the others. Then after I read it and saw that you even have a website, which is not that common nowadays, I thought that Nighthaven could be a good place for me. Entering your forum only confirmed my thoughts. Mature, polite, friendly and helpful people, with similar attitude towards the game is exactly what I've been looking for. Beside you have very nice guild name and website which is quite significant for me.
Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild.
Well, I lack self-confidence quite much and I'm a bit shy when talking to people I don't know (especially when it's not face to face). But I am also friendly, calm, openminded person and always willing to help others if only I'm able to.
Where did you hear of us?
I saw your recruitment post on Pyrewood Village server forum.
Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven (if so please cite the person)?
I was in Nighthaven for about two months since mid October 2019, if I remember correctly. I know Alunaria, but I don't know if anyone else I met then still plays the game, and maybe remembers me.
Anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other?
There is one more thing about myself I want to add, which is very crucial part of my life and has an influence on my playing skills.
The truth is that I'm a quadriplegic. I had an accident 14,5 years ago in which my spinal cord was damaged and about 80% of my body was paralyzed.
I use amazing accessibility equipment which allows me to operate mouse by my head movements (moving cursor) and small sips and puffs (left and right clicking).
To play WoW I have to use a “click to move” option and “move pad”(from accessibility tab in game's interface options) as well as on-screen keyboard to write (I write rather slow). As you can probably guess it impacts my mobility and dexterity quite a bit. Moreover I can't answer in chat during encounters without stop moving and I have to click my every ability by mouse, not by key bindings.
Sometimes (almost only between 9 and 11 pm.) I play when I lie in my bed, on my side (I need to change my position every few hours) and then playing start's to be even harder because of lack of head movement control.
Well, I now that's quite a few disadvantages but I can tell you that I always try as hard as I can.
But I'd like to add that I didn't write about it because I want any special treatment or something like that. I just thought that those things are worth mentioning if we were to play together.
If you have any questions about anything, including my accident or health condition, feel free to ask. I don't mind at all and will be happy to answer.
And I think that's all.
Best regards.
Zagloba / Jan
