What is your character name (in-game) and what class do you play?
Eír, she's a level 10 night elf priest.
What hours do you typically play (cite time zone as well.)
I'm in GMT+1 and usually play on pretty
irregular times during the day as well as during the weekends. I'm currently a college student combined with a part-time job as well as living in a house on the countryside but I often manage to punch in a couple of hours of WoW on a daily basis during the weekdays
What is your experience with World of Warcraft (how long have you played, were you a raider, role-player, etc?)
I started playing back when vanilla was released (Emeriss PvP) and kept on until mid-TBC when I quitted and then I didn't return until WoW classic was released. I played a human warlock as my main back then and did a fair share of raiding (endless wipeing on C'thun phase 1) and had a warrior and a rogue alt mostly for PvP-purposes.
Why would you want to join Nighthaven? Please note, we ask for your reasons for wanting to join -this- guild, not just any guild.
This is where it gets interesting. When I came to to WoW once classic released I rolled a warrior on a PvP server (Mograine) since that was the kind of server I played on - and enjoyed back in vanilla. Needless to say I've noticed that the community has changed quite a bit from what I remembered. The quality of social interaction between players seemed to have hit an all-time-low and I got the feeling that a fair share of the playerbase treats WoW as a single player game, where other players are but a "nessecary evil" in order for you to get your desired loot.
Not really my cup of tea, so to say. Therefore I started to scan the forums and found Alunarias post about Nighthaven which really stood out compared to the other guilds that were recruiting. Nighthaven does seem to be a guild that appeals to those "old school rpg values" which I'm very fond of. I'd really love to be a part of a community that's about social interaction, enjoying the game and not rushing anything for the sake of loot or what have you. Therefore I've decided to reroll on Pyrewood Village instead in search of a better experience.
Which qualities do you have to offer, and - what do you expect of your guild?
Well atleast I hope that I'm a nice person to be around and that I contribute to maintaing a positive and friendly attitude towards other members in the guild as well as other players around me. I enjoy discussing a wide range of topics but I've been told I'm a good listener as well so hopefully some of that might shine through
As for my expectations I hope Nighthaven to be a friendly bunch of individuals who work together to enhance each others classic WoW experience, and help eachother out whatever the situation might be
Where did you hear of us?
On the classic wow forums.
Do you know any current or former member of Nighthaven (if so please cite the person)?
No, I've been talking to Meijden and Kurbain and asked a few questions regarding the guild before I decided to throw in an application.
Anything else you would like to add to help us know if we´d be a good match for each other?
Well, since I first laid my eyes upon the recruitment poster on the forums and then found out that you guys even maintain a website with a forum just like I remembered from back in the days I was more or less sold I really look forward to hearing from you and I hope I haven't embarrassed myself all too much with this application, haha
